We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Prior Authorization Specialist to join a medical office. In this role, you will be the champion for securing authorizations for our patients, ensuring they receive medications and specialist appointments with minimal delay.

• You will obtain prior authorizations for medications and referrals for specialist appointments.
• You will process referrals, gather medical records, and communicate with insurance companies to expedite approvals.
• You will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and patients to ensure all necessary information is collected for a smooth authorization process.
• You will maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all submitted information.
• You will prioritize incoming requests based on urgency to minimize patient inconvenience.
