Job Description
Local agency is hiring for an Accounting Specialist, who will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining tenant accounting data,
ensuring that all records are accurate and complete, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Posts payments, refunds security deposits, and make adjustment to tenant’s accounts with accuracy
- Develop and maintain files and records
- Data entry
- Enter a variety of financial data with accuracy
- Prepare and make deposits
Set schedule will be:
Monday - Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Job Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a property management setting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
