Job Description

Are you local to Greenville and good with numbers? We are seeking the ideal candidate to serve in a position as an Accounting Technician for an established company.     In this role you will perform various accounting duties in the Finance Department:

  • Verifying and auditing supplier invoices
  • Resolving account payable issues
  • Timely and accurate payment of invoices
  • Reconciling supplier statement
  • Updating and maintaining  current supplier database
  • Verifying all customer refunds interface from the customer billing systems to the accounting financial system and processing for payment
  • Auditing invoice and material receiving reports to maintain an accurate accounts payable subsidiary ledger 
  • Other accounting functions as required 

 

Job Requirements

 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • A.A.S. Degree preferred. 
    • Over one year related experience.
    • Previous experience in computer operations including MS Excel and Word.
    • Experience with Oracle EBS accounting system is desired

Additional Information

 

You must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen upon acceptance of this position.

This opportunity is a contract position and slated to last 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday for approximately one year.
