Job Description
Certified Medical Assistants Wanted!
We are working with a local medical office in need of full-time Medical Assistants (MA). Personnel in this position should have prior experience handling patient referrals and obtaining PHI, validating and approving prescription refills, administering injections and other duties as requested. Starting pay is $16.00/hour.
These are Temp-to-Perm positions. Upon completion of probationary period, if a permanent transition is available employee benefits will include PTO, Sick/Person Days, Medical, Vision and Dental insurance and 401K Retirement.
Schedule:
Hours will vary from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
Job Requirements
- A.A.S. degree in Medical Assisting is mandatory for consideration.
- Certification for medical assisting through AAMA is preferred, consideration with be given to experience.
- Previous experience working with pediatric patients or family medicine preferred.
- Compliance with all required immunizations.
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
