Primary Classroom Assistant (Part-Time)

Hours: Approximately 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Primary Classroom Assistant will work alongside a Lead Teacher to support young learners in a nurturing, student-centered classroom. Responsibilities include assisting with daily classroom routines, supervising students, preparing materials, maintaining classroom organization, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will be patient, dependable, organized, and enjoy working with children in early childhood education settings.

Lower Elementary Classroom Assistant (Full-Time)

Hours: Approximately 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM

The Lower Elementary Classroom Assistant supports students and teachers in a mixed-age elementary classroom. This role involves assisting with lessons and activities, supervising students, maintaining classroom materials, supporting small-group learning, and helping ensure a safe and organized environment.

Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude, and a genuine interest in helping children learn and grow.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, sit on the floor, and move comfortably throughout both the classroom and playground environments
• Ability to actively supervise student indoors and outdoors
