We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Montessori Teacher to join a vibrant Upper Elementary program for the Fall of 2024.   As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in nurturing a love of learning within a prepared Montessori classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Montessori curriculum for students, fostering independence, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Facilitate student-led learning experiences that cater to individual interests and learning styles.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a cohesive Upper Elementary program.
  • Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Position will start early/mid August. 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a Montessori classroom setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of child development, particularly in the upper elementary age group.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Commitment to the Montessori philosophy and its core principles.
