Facility Maintenance Technician

Are you a hands-on maintenance pro looking for a challenging role in a production environment? We are hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician to help ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our buildings, facility systems, and production equipment. If you are detail-oriented, have experience with general building maintenance and facility systems, and are ready to jump into an essential support role, we want to hear from you!
This role is critical to supporting the upkeep and operation of our facility. Your primary focus will be on hands-on maintenance, thorough documentation, and collaboration to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, flooring, door hardware, and ceiling tiles.
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibrations in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide essential support for facility systems such as electrical, HVAC/R, piping, pneumatic, electronic, and site security.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, services, and calibration.
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance tasks and assist in creating procedural guides and records.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and calibrations with internal leadership and external service providers.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to manage on-site spare parts inventory.
- Assist with engineering and validation projects, including updating drawings to reflect changes.
- Participate in the Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency maintenance during off-hours in coordination with the on-call technician.
Job Requirements
What You'll Need to Bring
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in construction or building, electrical, or mechanical system maintenance.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing throughout the workday.
- Manual dexterity for grasping and fine manipulation.
- Ability to bend, squat, reach, and climb.
- Potential occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API).
Additional Information
Salary $15.00+ Based on experience
12-Month Contract (Potential for Temp-to-Hire, but not guaranteed)
Full-Time, Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM OR 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Pre-employment drug screen and CBC will be part of onboarding.
