Are you meticulous, reliable, and passionate about keeping systems running smoothly? We are looking for a dedicated HVAC Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician to join a busy commercial service team. This role is crucial for ensuring the longevity and efficiency of clients' heating and cooling infrastructure across a variety of commercial properties.

The HVAC Preventive Maintenance Technician's primary focus is on routine inspections, adjustments to prevent major system failures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Executing scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) check-ups on commercial HVAC equipment (rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, fan coils, etc.).
• Conducts inspections, cleanings, and performance checks on refrigeration equipment and ice machines. 
• Performing detailed system inspections, including checking belts, motors, bearings, and critical components.
• Cleaning coils, blowers, drain pans, and changing filters according to established schedules and procedures.
• Monitoring and documenting refrigerant levels, operating pressures, and temperatures.
• Lubricating moving parts and ensuring proper airflow and voltage settings.
• Identifying and reporting potential mechanical, electrical, or safety issues to Service Managers for follow-up repair scheduling.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed electronic records of all maintenance performed, including asset conditions and recommendations.
• Educating clients on system operation and maintenance best practices.

Required:

• Minimum of 3years of verifiable experience performing preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with various commercial HVAC equipment types (e.g., packaged units up to 25 tons).
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and maintenance schedules.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle a daily route.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
