Are you looking for a physically active role in a fast-paced medical environment in Kinston, NC? We're searching for a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you'll ensure a steady supply of clean linen for our patients and staff, contributing directly to a safe and comfortable healing environment.

What You'll Do:

As a  Laundry Assistant, you'll be on the move, responsible for:

  • Collecting linen from various departments throughout the hospital.
  • Transporting linen safely and efficiently to designated laundry areas.
  • Adhering to strict infection control policies and procedures at all times.
  • Working independently while coordinating with other hospital staff.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

 

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull carts of linen throughout the day.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all linen is collected and transported correctly.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a healthcare setting.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
  • Previous laundry experience is preferred. 

Additional Information

Shift will, be either First: 7:00 a.m. -3:30 or possible Split 10:00   – 6:30
