We are seeking a reliable, highly motivated onsite Janitor to join a team in Kinston, NC. This role is designed for a self-starter who excels at working independently and takes pride in maintaining a pristine professional environment.

The position follows schedule with most of the work occurring during non-business hours when you will be the primary person responsible for the facilities upkeep after a training period.    

Key Responsibilities

• Independent Office Care: Thoroughly clean all office spaces, including desks, common areas, and specialized surfaces.
• Glass & Floor Maintenance: Ensure all glass surfaces are streak-free and carpets/floors are meticulously vacuumed and maintained.
• General Facilities: Sanitize restrooms and breakrooms to a high standard.
• Self-Managed Tasks: Manage your own workflow during weekend shifts to ensure all cleaning benchmarks are met without direct supervision.
• Floater Tasks: On Fridays and Mondays, act as a responsive "as-needed" cleaner for spills or specific requests during business hours.

Requirements

• Strong Autonomy: Must be comfortable and effective working alone. We need someone who can stay on task and maintain high standards without a supervisor onsite.
• Reliability: Punctuality is critical, especially for independent weekend shifts.
• Attention to Detail: High standards for cleanliness, specifically regarding glass, carpets, and office organization.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for the duration of a shift and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Local Residency: Ability to commute consistently to our Kinston, NC location.

Onboarding will include a pre-employment drug screen and background check. 

Reliable transportation needed.
