Job Description
Lenoir County business is seeking an experienced Parts Coordinator to join their 3rd shift team. This will be a 4-3-3-4 schedule, 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
The duties of the Parts Coordinator will consist of sourcing, supplier selection, price negotiations, order placement, expediting and tracking, and supplier relationships.
Long term temp need, lasting up to 6 months.
$15.00 - $17.00/hour
Essential functions:
- Identifying, controlling, segregating, and maintaining parts and materials for avionics and maintenance
- Distributing any pertinent information received by the stock room to other company departments as required
- Inspecting incoming parts for traceability, identification, documentation, and overall condition
- Maintaining inventory control, (quarterly rotating count)
- Parts invoicing, responsible for quoting and procuring parts and materials at the lowest price possible
- Review of work orders to ensure all parts are issued
- Packaging, shipping & receiving of company wide materials
- Procurement of necessary tools, equipment and/or materials not owned via loan, lease, or rental as needed
- Initiating purchase orders for stock as required
- Understanding the procedures describing reporting suspected unapproved parts in the latest edition of AC 21-29 Detecting and Reporting Suspected Unapproved Parts
- Assuring that any HAZMAT items offered for shipment are properly packaged and identified to comply with 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations

Job Requirements
- Must have previous experience, this is not an entry level position
- Must be able to commit to entire 6 month assignment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
