Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Provider Data Support Specialist to join a team for a growing behavioral health agency. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our provider data, which directly impacts our ability to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management and Analysis:
- Track and manage provider data for both contracted and affiliated practitioners.
- Maintain a rigorous schedule of external reporting timetables, ensuring compliance with contractual and internal requirements.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to guarantee adherence to DMH and DMA contractual obligations, as well as other external and internal reporting needs.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all data within reports.
- Reconcile data discrepancies across various data sources.
- Proactively identify potential issues and make data-driven recommendations to network leadership staff.
- Data Processing and Communication:
- Receive and process daily IT files, including changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and with external stakeholders to evaluate data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Communicate with providers regarding data changes through email, postal mail.
- Improve the accuracy of provider data.
- Conduct audits of provider directories and to ensure accuracy.
- Provide technical assistance to providers on data errors and required updates.
- Complete data reports.
- Analyze provider directory and TBS data for accuracy trends and accreditation compliance.
- Routinely audit subcontractor data for accuracy and follow up on issues.
- Generate provider data reports for various stakeholders and committees.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in healthcare data management and analysis.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Person has to live within company's catchment area.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and CBC.
Additional Information
**This position is currently temporary and is expected to last until September, 2025.
