Calling all Safety & Sustainability Gurus! 

Greenville, NC based employer is seeking a passionate and experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join their team!

In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, protecting the environment, and maintaining the highest quality standards.

$70,000-$90,000 Salary will determined based on experience. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QEHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and internal requirements.
  • Oversee the management of workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain an integrated ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 program.
  • Lead and participate in safety training programs.
  • Collaborate with management and external stakeholders on all QEHS matters.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on various QEHS topics, including 6S, root cause analysis, PPE, DOT, and RCRA.
  • Oversee the transportation program, including E-Logs, dash-cameras, vehicle tracking, and drug testing.
  • Review and approve hazardous waste characterizations for safe and compliant disposal.
  • Manage leading and lagging metrics, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the safety of the analytical laboratory.
  • Manage import and transboundary documentation, including RCRA letters of authority.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing QEHS programs.
  • Strong understanding of relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Person may be required to work any shift, including evening, weekend or holidays as required.
