Job Description
A dynamic and innovative company in Wayne County, NC is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team as a Sales and Business Coordinator. This role is essential in supporting the sales team and driving business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Sales Support:
- Managing customer inquiries and providing timely and effective responses.
- Identify and develop front lines sales opportunities within assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with independent sales reps and account decision makers.
- Support sales growth through lead generation and account development.
- Develop market analysis, new lead strategies, short and long-term action plans to support growth targets and initiatives.
- Monitor performance against annual and period sales forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date target/contact lists and account statuses for the territory.
Business Coordination:
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
- Managing and maintaining customer databases and records.
- Handling customer onboarding and account management.
- Providing general administrative support as needed.
- Maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with other departments (warehouse, operations, design) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to ensure brand effectiveness and competitiveness.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business administration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
